Maybeline Age Rewind Dark Circle Concealer

Hey internet beauties of the blogging world!
I actually surprised myself when I realized that a product I use so often and have hoarded three backups of; (it was a good sale, don’t judge me!) you’d expect that I would have put up a review on it by now. So I’m here today to rectify that! It’s a pretty well-known product and I’m quite certain you guys would have heard about it so it’s no surprise why I love it so freaking much.
First off let’s start by giving some love to the fuzzy ball applicator. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I have this strange infatuation with it. To some people it may appear that it would hold a palooza of germs, bacteria and what not but it really applies the concealer to the under eye area BRILLIANTLY! A good, nice and thin layer – enough to cover up those dark circles but not so much that you have too much left over product that leads to cakeyness. Since the whole point to this concealer is to cover up dark circles I feel like it was made to do that task very well. A lot of concealers that don’t have a specific function usually do both tasks but only okay. This concealer brilliantly covers up dark circles. This is because there are pink tones in this concealer. Now if you’re currently staring at it, trying to see if you can spot the pink tones, put the concealer down! It’s not very obvious but trust me it works.
This concealer may have the potential to crease if you’re prone to that or have problems with wrinkles underneath the eyes. I personally have a pretty messed up under eye area so it’s difficult to make concealer look good there period. So just keep that in mind but don’t panic, a post about how to make under eye concealer look better is on the way. Yay for planning ahead! It lasts well on my skin though I personally set it with good ol’ ben nye banana powder, I find that it helps boost its longevity. It’s definitely not drying and just does a great job at blending out and brighten everything up. In a nut shell, this concealer is pretty awesome. I kinda sorta maybe have three backups of this aside from the one I’m currently using, (okay I do). I reach for it more often than I care to admit because it just works and who doesn’t love a concealer that works!
Are any of you guys a fan of this concealer? What other concealers do you like to cover up your dark circles? Let me know!

Have an awesome day and see you beauties in the next post.

If it's too light set it with a power slightly dark then the concealer to minimise the colour mis match

I've heard a few people say that. I think it's just about skin type really. I've had cult favourite products not work on my skin well.

You should, it's awesome and always an everyday thing for me.

I've had my eye on that benefit concealer for ages, the packaging does look a bit off to me though, is it hard to get out product?
