The Drugstore Gems Edit | No. 1

Hey beauty lovers! Well it’s no secret that I love my drugstore makeup so I’d take any excuse to talk about anything drugstore makeup related. Originally this was going to be a single post, but with ALL and I do mean all the products I wanted to talk about it would approximately take a year to read the post if I included everything. So what the hell I made it into a blog series, I mean I’m always trying new drugstore makeup so there will always be more products to talk about so it does make sense.

Shall we get on to the actual post now?

Maybelline color elixrs:
I am pretty sure I own the most shades of this lip product than out of all the lip related stuff I own. (I hate the word ‘lippy’ so I try to avoid using it). I feel like these color elixrs have the best of both worlds! They’re glossy and comfortable on the lips but they are also noticeable and not ultra-sheer, in fact certain colors practically go on opaque. Lip products are a pretty awesome category in the world of drugstore makeup and these ones are just brilliant. They have a good range of shades for everyone’s taste.

Chichi fabulous and flawless foundation
I love love love this foundation. My dry/dehydrated skin means I often have a powdery kind of cakey look to my face when I wear foundation. Not with this foundation, it glides on so smoothly and makes your skin’s texture appear ultra-smooth. I mean saying I love this foundation is a major understatement. A review is up on this love, click here to see it.

Makeup revolution radiant lights highlighter – exhale
I’ve said this many times before but if Mary loumanizer and the hourglass ambient lighting powders had a love child, this would be it. It has the texture and formula of the hourglass powders but the glow of Mary loumanizer. It’s so affordable and awesome and this is a must have! There is literally no good reason not to possess it. Here is where you click if you want to see a review on this.

Maybelline brow drama brow sculpting mascara
This is such a staple for me. I literally have three backups because I am that obsessed. It keeps my brows in place which is my main goal since my brows are full for the most part with minor adjustments. The main issue is keeping my unruly brows in place and this baby does it. Real techniques contour brush
I rarely find myself content with applying concealer (especially under the eyes) with a brush. It’s been a struggle because I found so many things to do a not so great job. If you don’t know where I’m going with this I’m basically leading into the fact that this brush is great at applying concealer to underneath the eyes. Aside from being good at contouring it really does blend out the concealer in such a frustrating area (am I right?) very nicely.

Makeup revolution ‘all about bronze’ palette
I already have a review up on this, click here but I of course had to add this to the list of things. Not only is it a great contour palette (duh) it also is stunning for eyeshadow – I mean neutral shades, it’s an obvious choice. A natural contour palette for medium skin tones, but this essentially caters for us pale girls who struggle at finding anything half decent to contour with.

That wraps up the first in many post under this series. What drugstore products do you guys love? Comment with them down below. I shall see you guys very soon.

I'm totally with you – I love drugstore makeup, especially when I've found something with good value. I've been looking for a great drugstore highlighter, so I'll definitely have to check out that Makeup Revolution one. I've also heard a lot about the Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara, but haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I have sparse brows so I feel like it wouldn't do much. Awesome picks! 🙂

Those MUR bronzer/blush kind of palettes are so good and so affordable too. I don't have that particular one but I love Hot Spice & Golden Sugar. I also love their Exhale powder, so amazing x

It depends on whether the shade fits you and how you find the wand, some people complain about the wand but my brows are massive so it doesn't both me.
