Rimmel Stay Matte Blush

Hey there internet peeps! It’s review time and I thought I’d steer towards the category of blush. Considering what a blush hoarder I am I should be pumping out blush related reviews faster than Kardashian related headlines *rolls eyes*.
Any who, let’s get ready to rumble with this review!

Pigmentation: I’d say it is around medium level pigmentation. It’s not annoyingly pigmented that will have you applying for clown college but it does not take long at all to build up the color.
Formula: It’s a teeny tiny bit chalky but other than that it goes on easy and there isn’t any fall out.
Warm or cool toned?: I’d say this blush is definitely cool toned, on the berry side of shades. This is great for autumn and winter though let’s face it who wants to wait for a certain season to wear a blush? I say wear a blush whenever you dam well feel like it.
IMG_4509.PNG
Finish: Matte as the name suggests, duh!
Wearability: Though it’s cool toned, it’s not a crazy bold shade no is it annoyingly pigmented, you can pretty much wear it with any makeup look you feel like and it won’t stand out in an odd way.
Price: $12.76 I think.
Availability: Priceline, Target, Big W, Woolworths, Kmart. Pretty much anywhere that sells Rimmel products.
Shade range / Shades I own: As far I know this doesn’t really come in other shades, at least in Aussie stores that stock this. Online or in the UK or America could be a totally different story. But the name of the shade I own is called 003 medium.
Rating: 6.5/10
Overall thoughts: This is a pretty good blush. I wouldn’t call it must have or ride or die but it does the job and it looks nice. I’m not much of a blush snob so as long as it doesn’t have tacky glitter and it’s reasonably (not annoyingly) pigmented, I’m pretty much a happy camper.
Would I repurchase it?: I like to try an endless amount of blushes and if they aren’t mind blowing I most likely won’t repurchase. This unfortunately doesn’t make the repurchase list and I’m pretty sure this product is close to being discontinued if it’s not already.

That wraps up the review peeps and peepettes! Have you tried this blush? Tell me what you think. What blushes have you been using lately? Tell me about them in the comments below! I’ll see you guys in the next post.

I've always thought of this packaging as powder so it's weird to see it as a blush!

No way I've never seen this blusher. Thanks for such an honest review though, I love the Rimmel stay matte powder and their bronzer too their packaging is their downfall. It does look very pretty though!

It's not one of the well known rimmel products, definitely they need to up their packaging.

I really like the Rimmel Stay Matte range but I've never given this blush a try – I'm not too sure if it's stocked in the UK. Lovely review, it's great to see when someone is completely honest about a product!

It's getting more and more difficult to find, I have an unconfirmed suspicion it may be getting suspicion but I can't be sure.

I've never tried Rimmel Stay Matte Blushes before but I think I'll give this a skip. Perhaps I'm cheap but if I'm spending $13 on a blush, it better blow my mind! Hahaha

Nice review! This blush looks nice! I am the same way about blush! I'm not too picky as long as it's not glittery! I hate when a blush is glittery haha! I think I like that pale pink color the best!

That's considered an affordable blush for Australia, we pay 10 x more for the same thing. I'm exactly the same with high end blushes, I mean $50-$60 on a blush, it better give me super powers haha.

I don't mind if a blush has glow but if it comes off as 'glittery' I don't like that either.

It's not to bad of a blush, it does the job though I have this tiny suspicion that it may begin to get discontinued.

Never tried this but I am a big fan of multi tonal blushes – with Rimmel price tags its not a lot to pay to try out so I'll have to give this one a go! x

P.S. 'faster than Kardashian related headlines' – I love that! <3
