The Beauty Favorites Edit | #4

Hey there ma blogging peeps! It’s time for another installation where I talk to you about my current beauty favorites. I’ve done a couple of these. It’s pretty much the same as monthly favorites only I don’t do them every month. Once every few months I look back and tell you guys about the products I have been using lately. It allows for a much more natural transition instead of forcing myself to rack my brain for beauty favorites every 30-31 days. Oh and if you want to read my previous posts, click on the number to see them. 1 / 2 / 3

Okay enough of that let’s jump in!
Max factor cream puff blushes
I had my eyes on these blushes ever since I heard that they were kind of a dupe to the hourglass ambient lighting blushes. But 22 bucks is still a lot to spend on a drugstore blushes so I waited patiently till they were on sale. It was well worth the wait. I’ve only picked up 2 shades and I am obsessed. I have been using them a crazy crazy amount! Like about 98% of the time when I am wearing makeup I am wearing either of these two blushes. I plan to get the other two shades when they go on sale as well!

Chichi Viva La diva lipsticks
Originally chich didn’t have many nude shades when it came to this line of lipstick. They have since then come out with a lot of wearable nud-ish shades. My obsession went from 0-100 really quick. They’re nude shades are gorgeous and wearable and I also picked up two other not so nude shades. They’re comfortable on the lips and easy to wear. I did purchase them on sale of course and I already own 9 shades.

The body shop warming mineral mask
I am a huge advocate of face masks. I love them! Something about throwing on a face mask, a ratty t-shirt and a messy bun is my idea of a chill night. Of course add friends re runs to the mix and there is nothing more awesome. The fact that this mask warms up is extra cool. Any face mask for me which either makes the skin tingle or warm up just feels like it’s doing something extra. And now that it’s getting close to winter this is definitely a snuggly face mask.

L’Oreal Paris Infalliable 24 hour foundation
In march a went on a bit of a foundation bender. With me having gotten much tanner over the summer and none of my foundations matched me so I was matching an mixing and got fed up pretty quickly. So I bought a bunch of new foundations I wanted to try and repurchased some of my favorites. Long story short this is one of the foundations I picked up. There wasn’t an ideal shade for me and the one I picked was a bit too dark. I still love this foundation those it provides amazing coverage and it lasts a great amount of time. I usually mix it with my urban decay naked skin foundation to adjust the shade and make the formula a little bit more blendable and hydrating.

Rimmel Lasting finish lipstick – Asia
This particular one is a rediscovery for me. This line of lipstick from Rimmel was the very first one I purchased back when I first got into makeup. This particular shade is wearable, pretty and not to plain. It’s awesome for wanting to go more intense in the eye shadow department but still able to wear a not overly plain lipstick.

Australis color inject lipstick – Folk
This has got to be my holy grail line of lipstick! Something about their formula is so dam good I literally wish they came out with 100 more shades. They have recently added a few more shades to their range and the shade folk is a deep nude. Super pretty, wearable and looks good on the lips. I already have a review up on these lipsticks, click hereif you want to see it.

Sleek blush – rose gold
Last but not least is a very very gorgeous blush. I owned this particular blush back in my makeup days but had since lost it. When I saw them stocking this brand in target I was so excited I instantly purchased this blush. It is very pretty an such a gorgeous shade of rose with gold running through it. I also love using it as an eye shadow.
That wraps up the post! What products have you been loving lately? Have you tried any of these products that I’ve mentioned? Tell me in the comments below. I hope you all have an awesome day and I’ll see you in the next post.

I'm curious about that glow one, It does linger on the dry side but mixing it with a different foundation makes it wonderful.

That's what happened to my first one, I bought it a few years ago and lost it, so when I saw it in target I had to get it again.

The Maxfactor blushes are so pretty! I have the darkest shade available, it's like a berry kind of shade and I love it. Plus they are very similar to the more expensive Hourglass ones x

I mix it with a more hydrating foundation and it works for me. It is quite drying by its own. x

I can find the sleek blushes to be a little intimidating as they are just soo pigmented but the shade rose gold is pretty hard to resist. Do you find the packaging is hard to get into or is it just me?
