Chichi BB cream

Hey there ma peeps! Foundation reviews in my opinion are one of the most important. There is a fine line between a good foundation and a bad foundation and no makeup look can be saved if you’re wearing an iffy foundation. Technically today what I’m talking about is BB cream but I usually throw that in the foundation category because it’s a base product that helps with the complexion so potato – PA TA TOE
Ramblings aside let’s get right in!

Coverage: Light coverage. I mean it’s a BB cream folks you literally can’t build expectations around good coverage with a BB cream
Skin types appropriate for this foundation: Normal to dry/dehydrated skin would love this BB cream. I don’t have oily skin so I can’t make any comments on how this product will work on oiler skin types. I will say that you’ll at least need to bring in some reinforcements such as a setting powder, primer and setting spray to make it last well. If you include all those products oiler skin types could pull this product off. I just wouldn’t say this BB cream was designed for oily skin.
Longevity: On people with normal to dry/dehydrated skin it lasts a decent amount of time
Application: It blends out pretty easy and applies smoothly. I usually apply it with a real techniques face expert brush.
Packaging: The packaging is a bit odd. It’s a squeezy tube with a pump lid so sometimes getting the product out is a bit tricky.
Formula: Creamy, blendable, lightweight, hydrating.
Finish:It has a demi matte / satin finish.
Who would love this foundation?: If you are a fan of natural coverage, hydrating and affordable bases then you’ll love this.
Who wouldn’t love this foundation?: If you are looking for medium to full coverage and a super long lasting product this may not be up your ally. Also if you are extremely pale the lightest shade may not fit your skin
Shade range: I believe there are four shades in total, pretty average for a drugstore BB cream as they don’t come in a lot of shades.
Price: $22.95
Availability:Target and Myerand the chichi site
Rating: 8/10
Overall thoughts: Overall this is a pretty good BB cream. It’s the only one I’ve tried that reasonably caters for fairer complexions. Most drugstore BB creams have a ridiculously dark shade as their ‘palest’ shade. It’s comfortable to wear, good for simple days where you won’t a minimal fuss makeup look. It gets two thumbs up from me!
Would I repurchase this?: yes I would.

That wraps up today’s post. Have you guys tried this BB cream? What drugstore BB creams have you been loving? Tell me in the comments. I hope you all have an awesome day and I’ll see you in the next post.

I have dry skin and love light, dewy bases so I think I would get on quite well with this. Just a shame we don't have the brand here in the UK x

This brand has so many hydrating bases. Almost all their base products i'm in love with. They do ship internationally on their site, so there's always that option.

Don't think we have this brand here in Canada but I like that it's hydrating as I'm on the drier side. Sounds very lovely!

I love BB creams but I'm super pale so I'm not sure if this would be light enough for me. I really need to check out this brand as I've never heard of it before. Thanks for sharing!

This BB cream is more forgiving unlike other bb creams which are ridiculously dark. There cc cream does have a better 'lightest shade' though.

I've never heard of this brand but the BB cream sounds nice! I like using lighter bases on daily basis, especially during Summer. x

I find BB creams so hard to get used to, my skins too temperamental. I love my expert face brush to apply them too though. Such a strange tube though! xx

BB creams are definitely a love hate relationship. Whenever my skin is behaving I love to use them. Yes the expert face brush is my go to with light/medium coverage bases. Yeah the packaging is a bit odd like squeezy tube/pump hybrid.

It's always so good when BB creams actually cater for us pale skinned people, and they are definitely hard to come by! Love the sound of this one, although I'm liking using foundations with a bit more coverage at the moment!

I know right! This is the first drugstore BB cream I've come across that has a shade that's workable on pale skin even if you have to blend it down your neck a bit.

Weirdly I like to use this as an all over concealer if I'm feeling particularly icky haha. I use this then pop on a lightweight foundation and I'm good to go! xx
