The Maybelline Better Skin Concealer

Hey there ma peeps! Another day, another review – when it comes to Maybelline I am pretty much a fan of all of their concealers. I mean they sure know how to do concealers am I right? So today I am going to talk to you peeps about their Maybelline better skin concealer!

Let’s get straight to business!
Coverage: It does the job, it wouldn’t call it a full coverage concealer but it isn’t one of those oober natural concealers that barely cover up anything.
Longevity: it lasts a decent amount of time, with setting powder it lasts decently.
Formula: It’s a very creamy hydrating formula. It’s slightly thick in consistency but it blends out very well.
Packaging: Your typical squeeze tube packaging.
Under the eyes or for spots?: I love this for underneath the eyes as its super hydrating and has enough coverage to cover up those dark circles. Setting it with a powder will reduce creasing but because of it’s thick-ish consistency, depending on your under eye area it may crease.
Pros: It’s creamy and hydrating, easy to blend, has a easy to deal with packaging and its affordable.
Cons: The shade range is extremely limiting, may crease,
Price:  $14.95 AUD
Shade range: Only two shades which sucks! The lightest shade isn’t that light so if you are looking for a bright under eye area, this won’t be for your liking.
Availability: Priceline, Woolworths, Target, Kmart, Big W
Overall thoughts: I love this concealer, it does the trick and it isn’t difficult to blend out which is an issue for me with some other under eye concealers. I reach for it a lot and it’s just an all round great concealer.
Rating: 8.5 / 10
Would I repurchase it?:Already have!

And that wraps up today’s review! Have you guys tried this concealer? What Maybelline concealers do you guys love? Tell me in the comments below! I hope you all have an awesome day and I’ll see you in the next post!

This sounds like a lovely concealer! Shame that the shade range is not the best so I may not be able to use it for under eyes! Great post! X

Not sure if this would work with my pale skin if there is only one shade! Love their eraser concealer though!

I was able to pull off the lightest shade but those paler than me might not. x

It is such a small bottle!! I think I'd find it hard to find a shade which would match me as I'm basically the palest of the pale! Drugstore concealers/foundations really need to up their shade range

It is really annoying when companies only come up with a few shades… It always puts me off!

I know the feeling. The lighest shade was too pale for me at one point but the next shade was too dark. Some high end brands even do this with their concealer.

I always struggle with drugstore concealers, some can be really good but others are awful. Not so sure how I would feel about this if it creases x

I struggle with Maybelline concealers as I often find they crease under the eyes! So I'm still on the hunt for that perfect concealer. So far Benefit seems to be the best I've tried 🙂

I love the Maybelline mascaras but stay clear of the foundations apart from the air whipped mousse as I always find the liquid ones to orange and un-natural looking on my skin because it's so pale 🙁 x

Yes I have absolutely no luck with their foundations unfortunately. Some seem to love them, but they are too pink/orange for me.
