Hey there wonderful humans!
If you guys haven’t noticed my blog may look a weeeee different. Well that’s because I moved this baby over to word press! I figured it was going to be necessary at some point and that I may as well get it out of the way. I’m not the most tech savvy but it was less drama for me then when I got my domain (That was a whole other pain in the ass). It’s getting close to uni break for me and I cannot wait to be blogging full force again.
It’s time for another review and I thoroughly believe mascara is the back bone of the makeup world so today’s review is going to be on a mascara. If that wasn’t already made pretty obvious by the tittle of the post.
Here we go!
Formula: The formula is on the thicker side but still wet. Once it’s opened it does begin to dry but it takes a long time before it becomes unusable. If anything it gets better and better once its opened.
Uni lash?: It’s not a separating and defining mascara but it doesn’t clump the lashes in a gross way.
Price: $19.95 AUD
What does it do?: The whole idea behind this mascara is that it makes your lashes look crazy dramatic as though you are wearing false lashes without the actual dilemma of putting on actual false lashes.
Does it do what it claims to do?: I haven’t actually ever worn false lashes and I have naturally long lashes but this mascara does give crazy volume and makes your lashes look very dramatic.
, Woolworths, Target, Coles, Big W, Kmart
Panda eyes?: I don’t have oily skin and so waterproof mascara is unnecessary for me. This mascara does come in a waterproof version so if you need it, it’s there.
Does it hold a curl?: I do find that it holds a curl though the formula of the mascara is slightly heavier so it can sometimes weigh down your lashes.
Difficult to remove?: Though I use a cleansing oil to remove all of my makeup which makes it super easy and pretty much gets off everything. I do notice that this mascara is slightly more difficult to remove and sometimes I have to go in with eye makeup remover or micellar water to remove the rest.
Who’d like it?: If you like volumizing dramatic lashes, this mascara is for you. It’s also a reasonable price (not if you’re aussies).
Who wouldn’t like it?: Those who like natural and defining mascaras or who usually go for high end mascaras won’t like this mascara.
Overall thoughts: It’s an awesome mascara. It makes your lashes pop, gives good volume and is affordable. Maybelline have a couple of great mascaras, this is definitely a mascara to check out though it’s one that has greatly circulated in the blogging community so I’m sure you guys have heard enough about it.
Would I repurchase it?: I’m up to my second tube. This is one of the mascaras I will keep going back to.
That wraps up todays post! Have you guys tried this mascara? Tell me your thoughts! What other mascaras have you been loving. Be sure to drop a comment and say Hi. Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you guys in the next post.
