The Real Techniques ‘Multi-Tasking’ Brush

Hey ho you guys! We all know makeup brushes make a massive difference when it comes to applying our makeup despite our less than enthusiastic attitude when it comes to washing them. Am I right? Well today I wanted to review a brush that I am literally obsessed with despite the fact that it’s not sold separately.

So let’s get started!

Its use?: As the name suggests you can really use it for anything. You could use it for foundation, for bronzer, for blush and even face powder.

Is it part of a set of can it be individually purchased?: Unfortunately it is only available in a set, the travel essential’s set. I really wish it was sold separately I’d buy like 5 of them.

Does it do a good job?: Hell yeah, it does a good job at all the uses I mentioned earlier. This brush can really do it all.

What I personally use it for?: I use it for foundation. This doesn’t look like a foundation brush, I mean it’s fluffy there aren’t many if any foundation brushes that look like this. But it’s amazing at applying foundation, especially those foundations that are a little bit tricky to blend.

Shape?: It’s a fluffy brush, sort of dense but no precise shape.

Availability: Iherb, priceline and the real techniques site itself.

Pros: It works wonderfully for many uses, affordable, fluffy, a great size for the face, wonderful at blending foundations that are on the dry side.

Cons: It’s only available in a set

Price?: It’s $45 AUD off Priceline, it’s $24.52 AUD off Iherb and $24.29 off the real techniques site. P.s these are the prices of the set itself.

Rating: 9/10

Do I have multiples?: I wish, I’d have to buy the whole set several time to have many copies of this brush and the other brushes in this set aren’t awesome enough to get copies of.

Overall thoughts?: This is a fantastic brush. It does every task so well, which makes it all the more frustrating that it’s only available in a set. It works wonderfully well at applying dry foundations. I mean literally it’s my go to brush when dealing with a tricky to apply foundation. This is definitely a brush you guys have got to try! Maybe then we can rally together and pressure real techniques into making it available to purchase separately.

Would I repurchase it?: Maybe one day if it’s sold separately.

And that’s a wrap on the post. Have you guys tried this? Thoughts? Do you wish they sold it separately as well? Drop a comment and let’s rant together. I hope you all have a wonderful and I’ll see you in the next post.

I really do love this brush, it is a shame it only comes in a set as I would buy 10 of them otherwise. Great thorough review xxx

I know, it’s the thing that annoys me about real techniques some of their best brushes are only available in a set, like they need to have the option of buying it separately as well! It’s what has turned me towards ebay, aliexpress and wish brushes – which are just as good.

I have this brush and it’s definitely one of my favourite Real Techniques ones. I’ve actually never used it for foundation, just powder… I find it sets everything without caking. Will definitely try it for foundation now though!

It is surprisingly wonderful for foundation. I would have never thought about using it for that but a youtuber talked about it and I gave it a go and it’s pretty good.

I would never have thought to use this brush as a foundation brush because it does look so fluffy but what a great tip for the foundations that are harder to blend!! I adore the RT expert face brush for my foundation, really buffs the product into the skin!xx

Yes I saw a youtuber doing it so I tried it out of curiosity and it’s actually quite nice, especially for those foundations that are more on the dry side and difficult to blend.

It is the one RT brush that still is on my wish list, but that I haven’t purchased already. Because I don’t really need the other ones in the set, like you said.

Yes they really need to start rolling out the option of buying the brushes individually as well as in a set for those who want to pick or choose or repurchase.

I have this brush and I love it! I use it for sooo many things. So I definitely agree with it being a multitasking brush. Haven’t tried foundation though! Interesting…

It really does everything well! Hence why RT should allow it to be sold individually!

I’ve considered more RT brushes as I have had a few in the past, but I find I just never really use them unless I am desperate :/

I love Real Techniques brushes and haven’t heard a lot about this brush before. It sounds like a real multi tasker! I do wish that RT would sell all their brushes individually. Sometimes you don’t need a whole set!

I like Real Techniques brushes. We are luckily able to purchase some of them separately here in the UK x

Lucky you! It’s the one annoying thing about real techniques that you can’t buy them separately, some our sold separately but the brushes in the sets you can’t repurchase individually.
