Maybelline ‘Fit me’ Concealer

Hey there my peeps! So I hope you’re having a wonderful Holiday break and enjoying that time between Christmas and New years eve where you don’t know what day it is or what you’re doing. I know I feel that way but as I write this, it is new years eve so I only have to deal with one more day before it’s a brand new year and things start to get off track.

Any way, its review time so how about I avoid going off on a little tangent. Today I wanted to cover another Maybelline concealer. You guys know I love Maybelline concealers, I literally love everyone I’ve tried except for one! I have already reviewed two of them, the Maybelline better skin concealer and the age rewind concealer, click on them to check out the review.

So let’s jump in!

Coverage: Light – medium coverage.

Longevity: It lasts a decent amount of time, factor in a good foundation, setting it with powder, the primer you choose to use and possibly using a setting spray – the longevity of the concealer doesn’t cause any issues. All by itself I wouldn’t call it super-duper long lasting but since when do we do our makeup and only rely on a long lasting concealer to save the day?

Formula: Thin, hydrating, light and creamy. It blends out easy and isn’t cakey.

Packaging: Standard tube packaging with a wand

Under the eyes or for spots?: I’d recommend it for under the eyes, maybe to cover up the redness but it wouldn’t be great for covering up blemishes. Not just because of its coverage but also it being a wand applicator it’s not hygienic to use it directly on blemishes.

Who would like it: Those who like a good concealer for under the eyes, drugstore concealer fans, those who like concealers with wand applicators, those who like concealers on the natural side.

Who wouldn’t like it: If you want a full coverage, super long lasting concealer you won’t like this. Also if wand applicators aren’t your thing you won’t like this either.

Price: $14.95 AUD

Shade range: There are six shades in total

Availability: Priceline, target, kmart, Woolworths, chemist warehouse, Coles and big W. (Keep in mind this is where to purchase them in Australia, international peeps should find this where they usually get their Maybelline/drugstore goodies).

Overall thoughts: This is a great concealer! It works well underneath the eyes, it’s comfortable to wear, easy to blend out, affordable. All in all it’s a great concealer.

Rating: 8/10

Would I repurchase it?: Yes I have purchased a backup.

That wraps up the post. Have you guys tried this concealer or any other Maybelline concealer? let me now in the comments below. I hope you have a great day, I’ll see you guys in the next post.

This looks like a great product for brightening up the under eye area. I haven’t tried anything from the ‘Fit Me’ range yet but I have read so many positive reviews.

I you go a shade or two lighter it will definitely brighten but it has a nice shade range so for even those who don’t like it super bright under the eyes; they can get good use out of this concealer.

See, this sounds good, but I don’t think it would be comparable with the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer.

Oh no this concealer isn’t one of those concealers that is marketed towards brightening. The Maybelline dream lumi concealer is a brightening one. This is just a regular concealer for under the eyes of course if you got it in a shade 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone, then it would be sort of brightening.

I have been using that one for quite some time and even repurchased. It is very nice for unde the eyes. If I need to use it on blemishes I just dab some on the back of my hand and aplly it from there.

Clarins instant concealer. Mac pro long wear (possibly drying though). I’ve heard people rave about the urban decay naked concealer and the tarte shape tape concealer – I am keen on trying those out.

[…] Now I did throw this out before I could snap a picture as only in recent days did I realise I need to get off my butt & start doing empty posts. This is another Maybelline concealer I love & my only pickle is that I do go through it rather quickly as it’s a wand applicator concealer. Other than that, it sits nicely under the eyes and is a quick & easy option! |Review| […]
