Hey there my ma peeps. You guys know that I take priming pretty seriously. I mean I’m lucky enough not to have a skin type that makes my foundation melt like butter on a hot frying pan but priming has so many other roles than to make the foundation last.
So today I am going to be talking to you peeps about a primer I have been loving lately. Before I start I just thought I’d mention I have started a facebook page as an extension of this blog, You’ll find it with all the social media icons in the top right corner of the blog! And yes the Blog lovin symbol doesn’t actually appear it’s that strange looking chain symbol in the beginning of the icons.
Okay enough babbling let’s get on with the review shall we?!
Hydrating?: I do find it hydrating, it definitely makes your skin feel softer and smoother.
Packaging?: Squeezy tube packaging.
Formula: It’s a pretty light right runny formula. It’s easy to apply onto your face and doesn’t take too long to sink in.
Targeted skin type: I do feel like normal to dry/dehydrated skin will like this primer. This primer does claim to be oil free so if you have skin that lingers on the combination side, this could still be a useable primer for you. It does have Vitamin E and chamomile as ingredients so I find that it doesn’t’ irritate the skin in any way.
Does it aid in enhancing the longevity of your foundation?: I wouldn’t say so. It doesn’t reduce the longevity of your foundation and by that I mean it doesn’t cause the foundation to transfer or break up but it doesn’t actively make your foundation last a long ass time.
Does it blur pores?: Nope, this isn’t the kind of primer to blur pores and it doesn’t make any false promises to do so.
Does the foundation sit well on top?: Yes! I find that my foundation goes on a lot more smoothly and doesn’t end up looking dry or powdery
Availability: Priceline. It’s an Aussie brand so I am pretty sure it’s only available in Australia, sorry folks. Big W also sells this brand.
Pros: It’s hydrating, easy to apply onto the face, it sinks into the skin quickly, smooths out your face and it’s affordable.
Cons: It doesn’t pack much of a punch when it comes to increasing the longevity of your foundation or controlling shine.
How much product are you given: You are given 50 ml which is pretty good for the price
Overall thoughts: This is a pretty nice primer. I mean it hydrates and softens your skin, preps it well for a good foundation application and it’s very affordable. I don’t have any complaints with this primer.
Would I repurchase it?: Yes I would.
Well that wraps up the review? Have you guys tried this primer? What are your thoughts? What affordable primers have you been loving? Tell me in the comments below. I hope you all have an awesome day and I’ll see you in the next post.
