Hello there lovely humans! I thought I’d knock off another review of Eye Shadow Palette Mountain. It’s no secret that I hoard eye shadow palettes like actual hoarders hoard newspapers and candy wrappers. Today I am going to be talking about another palette from the chichi glamorous eye shadow palette range.
Let’s jump in!
Shade selection: All are neutral and natural shades. This type of shade range makes this palette the perfect day time eye shadow palette. You can create a number of natural/wearable looks for the day time.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is sufficient. I wouldn’t call it the pigmentation out of this world but considering the shades aren’t dark and they all fall into the natural category the pigmentation of these eyeshadow does not cause any issues.
Is there any fall out? If there is any fall out I can tell you it’s not noticeable. The shade range doesn’t include any dark shades if fall out were to happen it wouldn’t cause any mess. Keeping that in mind barely any fall happens with these eye shadow palettes so you don’t have much to worry about.
Do they blend well?: Yes! They blend really easy.
Finish of the shades: There are 4 matte shades and the rest have a shimmery finish.
sell this brand in store. You can also purchase this brand on the chichi website
which ships internationally.
Price: $22.95 AUD (this brand does like to have 30% sales though pretty frequently so if you wait I’m sure you can purchase it for a much cheaper price).
Wearability: All the shades are super wearable, natural and would work with any makeup look.
Packaging: Packaging is standard, it has a clear lid so you can see the shades inside and it comes with one of those awful sponge applicators for eye shadow you can just get rid of that.
Who would like this?: Those who aren’t into heavy eye shadow looks, fans of drugstore makeup and who are just beginning to get into eye shadow will love this palette.
Who wouldn’t like this?: If you won’t a variety of eye shadow looks from natural to glam, this palette probably won’t be for you. If you want crazy pigmentation and at least a few dark shades, you’ll also not be a fan of this palette.
Would I repurchase this? To be honest chichi has come out with so many other eye shadow palettes and after discovering makeup revolution and freedom makeup, there are so many eye shadow palettes I have yet to try out. So this palette doesn’t make the cut for the list of palettes worth repurchasing. It’s still great and worth trying out.
Would I recommend this? Yes I would, I do use it for transition shades and on days I want to go easy with the eye shadow.
Overall thoughts: It’s a great palette overall. It has pretty shades that are wearable and easy to use. If you have the intention of creating a simple eyeshadow look you won’t accidently go over board (believe me it can happen) and it’s just very flattering for day time makeup and a great palette to get you started. It’s worth trying out!
