Hey hey hey.
Remember little old me the one who promises to be more consistent with blogging and yet disappears for a month. Yep that’s me! Once more I’d like to blame uni but I am officially on uni break for over a month before I jump into my last semester of uni *throws confetti* So my blogging consistency will definitely be picking up! AND I am definitely going to implement a system that keeps a weekly post type schedule during uni so you guys aren’t left with zip! Sounds fair? I can easily say by new year blogging goals have pretty much turned to dust but no need worrying about the past. Today is a brand new day, here is a brand new post AND I am throwing at you another round of the ‘All about the base’ edit where I will be sharing with you guys products for a fresh faced base! Sounds good? I hop so! If you want to see the previous ‘All about the base’ posts, click on the blog series tab OR the tab that’s named after this blog series.
This type of base is great if you’re in a time jam, or having a good skin day and want to show off or you’re just having some natural makeup vibes.
So let’s get started!
Natio ageless illuminating primer | The goal of this particular base is to make your skin appear as if it’s fresh, rejuvenated and looking healthy. Nothing says glowy skin like an illuminating primer. Whatever glowy primer you usually use will work. Nothing glittery but just something that both hydrates the skin and makes it glow.
Chichi CC cream | This type of look really looks its best with a light foundation or base like product. If you need a full coverage foundation try and use a dewy one. I like doing this sort of base when my skin is actually behaving. I’m using a CC cream for this look just because, any light coverage foundation or even a bb cream / tinted moisture would also work. |Review|
Clarins instant concealer | you want to cover up those dark circles but you also don’t want it to look to heavy under there. If you need the extra coverage, wearing a corrector underneath will do the trick. (yes you can still set your concealer, if you feel like you don’t need to because it won’t crease or budge you can skip it but setting it with any powder or the powder you set your foundation with is fine). |Review|
Mac studio fix concealer | In a perfect world a skin would be without blemishes but it ain’t a perfect world. Spot concealer is nifty especially because you can cover up the blemishes but still keep the rest of your facing looking natural. |Review|
Face of Australia translucent loose setting powder | I always set my face even though I have dry/dehydrated skin. I like it because it keeps the foundation and concealer from transferring and moving around. I don’t apply a lot but I do sweep a light layer over the face.
And that’s it for this post! Do you guys like wearing this sort of base? What products do you like to use when you do? I hope you guys are enjoying this blog series, I mean I’m a bit of a base junkie myself. Drop a comment below with what you thought. I hope you are all having a fantastic day and as usual I will see you in the next post. And you really will be seeing me soon, scouts honor!
