The Body Shop Honey Bronzer

Hey there wonderful humans!

Yes I am back and I thought I’d go down bronzer lane today! It’s review time and I always thought I had review this product on the blog. So I am here today to right this wrong. So sit back and grab a snack!

Let’s jump in!

The shade I own?: 01 light

Pigmentation: The pigmentation is adequate. Not over the top that you can apply to much but enough so that it does the job it’s meant to do.

Is it too orange or muddy? It isn’t either it’s a perfect milk chocolate tone.

Is it easy to blend?: It’s very easy to blend, almost glides onto the skin.

Natural or intense? Natural! I am basing this off the shade I own though the other two shades don’t look too intense.

Does it work well on fair skinned?: Yes, yes and yes! The shade 01 light was born to be used on fair skin.

Lasting power? It lasts a decent amount of time, I mean when you factor in primer, setting spray, the particular foundation you’re using etc. it lasts very well on the skin.

Availability: The body shop store. They also have an online site.

Packaging: The packaging is pretty standard packaging for a pressed powdered product. It comes with a mirror and the bronzer has a cute honeycomb pattern embedded in the bronzer.

Finish: It’s a matte finish

Price: $29.95

Pros: Very natural, works beautifully on fair skin, will last you a long time I’ve had it for so long and haven’t come close to hitting pan on it.

Cons: Not super cheap in Australia, it may cost less in the UK and other places but in Australia it isn’t super affordable. I can’t speak for the other two shades but these bronzers wouldn’t show up on dark skin. Availability is strictly limited to the body shop they aren’t available in other stores.

Shade range: They have three shades in total.

Rating: 8.5 / 10

Overall thoughts: This is a gorgeous bronzer. It’s so subtly and pretty and flattering on the skin. I kinda want to purchase the other two shades as well because I’ve since become more tan during the summer and this light shade is too natural for me. However, if you have fair skin and are yet to find a bronzer that works for you, you need to try the shade 01 light of this bronzer ASAP. Trust me guys it’s worth it.

And that wraps up today’s post. Have you guys tried this bronzer? What other bronzers do you recommend for fair complexions? Tell me in the comments below. I’ll see you in the next post, have a great day

I like that this is a matte finish as I typically use my bronzers for contouring, so this might be perfect! Thank you for sharing, I’ll have to check it out!

I haven’t tried much from the body shop. I’ve been eyeing their skincare and some more of their makeup but this bronzer is a classic, absolutely awesome for pale skin tones! Thank you so much! I do try and make reviews as informational as possible, but to the point as well as making sure I don’t leave anything out. Glad you like it. Thanks for stopping by!

This sounds like a great product, it reminds me of the NYC bronzer, which is also supposed to be very natural. I might have to check out the other shades as 01 might be too light for me 🙂 xx

I just love how you can build it up. Nothing more annoying the a bronzer you hardly touch with your brush yet it splotches on too much product.

I’ve heard so much about this bronzer, but I’m gutted they don’t do a shade 2, as 1 always looks too light and three looks too dark! Might just give this one a go! Great review!xx

I really like the honey bronzer but I’m really surprised how expensive it is in Australia. It´s more affordable in the UK.

Unfortunately that’s a reality in Australia. Everything is more pricey here. Even brands like hylamide, morphe, mac – they are all overpriced. We pay double what you guys pay for in the UK

Sounds really nice but I would probably needed the darkest shade since my skin is medium and now more tanned than a month ago. I wish we had a Body Shop here 🙁

Yes this particular bronzer isn’t for those who aren’t fair skin. It’s a very natural bronzer but the formula is awesome. I’m also considering getting the second shade.

When your pale it’s a good thing it doesn’t show up a lot because it’s natural but when I got tanned during summer I couldn’t use it.

My best friend has this and loves it but I was worried because I’m so pale that it was going to be really orange on me (like some bronzers are) but now I’m thinking it would work really well for me so I might pick it up 🙂

It definitely has no orange tones in it and it’s praised by lots of pale girls. It’s the color of milk chocolate but very light. I’m thinking of picking the medium shade as the light shade is now just too light for me.

I have been wanting to try this one for years! Unfortunately, they do not have Body Shop where I live, but I will get my hands on it one day 😀 You asked about other recommendations for bronzers for fair skin and I don’t have personal experience with it, but have heard very good things about Physicians Formula ones.

Does the body shop site ship to your country? I love the physician’s formula butter bronzers and they make some really awesome bronzers! If you’d like some recommendations of bronzers for fair skin, let me know! I’d be happy to recommend you some.

Hm, I might have to try this out in the future! I always forget that The Body Shop has cosmetics when I think of them I usually just think of bath/body products. It definitely looks more neutral than the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soliel bronzer!

I feel you sister! I’m from Australia as well and it sucks that the body shop is so pricey here when it’s meant to be a reasonably priced brand. It’s a shame because they have such interesting products, especially skincare and makeup. But there aren’t many affordable drugstore brands in Priceline wither. I highly recommend – the brand’s Makeup Revolution and Freedom makeup on the Tam beauty site. They are so affordable and the shipping fees are free after you spend a certain amount.
