GoodThings Honey Manuka Face Mask

Heya beautiful humans! With only a week left before uni break is over and I’ll be back in that abyss, I wanted to share another post with you guys – today taking a skincare focus on a lovely little face mask. I promise you guys my consistency will not be ruined when uni starts up again. I have a zillion pre written posts and I planning to

Targeted skin type: There is no specified skin type.

Facts about this skincare product: This face mask is free from parabens, mineral oil and sodium laureth sulphate. It contains Manuka honey, white clay and beeswax.

What is its purpose? This face masks focuses on brightening and refreshing the skin, getting rid of dull skin.

Packaging: Squeezy tube packaging.

How much product do you get?: 100 ml

Does it achieve this? I do find that it does refresh the skin and it does get rid of that tired look from my skin.

Did it irritate my skin? I didn’t find it to irritate me. If you have sensitive skin, read the ingredients list. This does have fragrance and alcohol listed in the ingredients list.

How many times a week do you use it? I use this once a week.

Morning or night?: either.

Does your skin adapt to it over time and therefore become less effective?: This doesn’t come with dramatic results but I haven’t noticed it becoming redundant with frequent use.

Formula: it’s a reasonable thickness, easy to spread, it feels a bit dry to the touch it being a clay mask but it won’t leave your skin feeling dry, though it won’t highlight it either.

Pros: leaves the skin feeling clean, smooth and refreshed.

Cons: doesn’t have potent effects, doesn’t hydrate the skin

Price: $12 AUD

Availability: Target

Rating: 7.5 / 10

Overall thoughts: This is a nice face mask, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed. It doesn’t make a dramatic difference in making your skin radiant but it’s a nice and average mask. I like to use it.

Would I repurchase it? It could go either way.

And that wraps up this post. Have you guys tried this face mask? Any face masks you have tried that get your skin looking radiant? Drop a comment and let me know. I hope you all have a fantastic day and I’ll see you guys in the next post.

This isn’t an irritating face mask but I don’t have super sensitive skin so I can’t 100% be sure in your case. We all have different experiences with skincare

This sounds ideal for refreshing the skin – and at a good price too! Definitely one to return to again and again without feeling guilty 🙂

With it containing Manuka Honey I hoped it would be similar to the Antipodes Aura Mask but the clay makes it so different, although by the sounds of it it isn’t as drying as other clay masks? I’ll definitely keep my eye out next time I’m shopping for a new face mask and give the ingredients a closer look! Thanks for the review!

I’ve heard a lot of good things about manuka honey in general, so it doesn’t surprise me that you liked this mask. I probably wouldn’t get this for myself only because I have a ton of other masks that I’m planning to get, but it sounds great!

I never seem to get on with Good Things products, so I will skip on this. I feel like I could just put honey on my face myself? Thank you for sharing though, this might be something to keep an eye out for. Hope you are having a great week!

I saw honey and was immediately intrigued, and I do like how affordable it is. My go-to will always be sheet masks though, they work so much better than any cream masks I’ve tried!
