Well hello, there you peeps! Yes it’s that time again where I jibber jabber about some drugstore goodies I love. I have done a few of these thus far. (1, 2, 3) click on the corresponding number to see them.
Okay, so about we get crackin’!
BYS Matte eye shadow kit
For 5 bucks this is a surprisingly nifty little eye shadow palette. It has a decent amount of pigmentation that makes it useable and minimal fall out. Many of the shades I use in the crease and that dark black shade I sometimes use as a brow powder.
I can be very stingy when it comes to lip liners. Like even 10 bucks on a lip liner seems like a lot to me because all it does is line the lips. But these bad boys are not only affordable but creamy and easy to work with. They really need to come out with a lot more shades.
This is one of my favourite liquid eye liners and I’m a fussy bitch when it comes to eyeliner. Not only is it very affordable but it’s very easy to use and lasts a really good amount of time. What I particularly love about it is how easy it is to control the thickness of the liner. I know you peeps out there feel me on that one.
This bronzer is beautiful! I don’t know if the body shop counts as drugstore or not but I just thought I’d mention it anyway. It’s very natural and blendable and super easy to work with. The shade 01 light is purrrfect for people with very light skin. I just love this one, it’s definitely worth trying out. Funny enough I’m tempted to go onto the second or even third shade as the 01 light is currently too light for me. |Review|
I frequently pick up this bad boy! It’s just the best for when you want to wear a blush that actually resembles if you were to actually blush. It’s not annoyingly pigmented so you won’t end up looking like a clown. I’ll admit the packaging is super clunky and a pain in the ass to store but it’s a beautiful blush. I have since depotted this blush.
Essence I heart stage eye shadow primer
I’m not totally dependent on eye shadow primer but I do like it, especially this one! It’s easy to use, provides a nice base for your eye shadows and really helps your lid colours stand out and for your shadows to go on very smoothly. Some people do claim the new formula is orangey but when you apply your eye shadows over the top any orange tones from the primer do not show up.
And that wraps up this round of the drugstore gems edit. Have you guys tried any of the products I’ve mentioned? What are your thoughts? What drugstore products do you guys love? Drop a comment below. I hope you all have a fantastic day and I’ll see you in the next post.
