The FrezyDerm Eye Creams

Hello beautiful humans! So one of my favourite things is to try out brands I haven’t tried before. I was lucky enough to be contacted by Freezyderm for a collaboration and I got the chance to try out two of their eye creams. So today after having been using them for a couple of months, I’ll be talking to you all about them. Just a disclaimer – these eye creams were gifted to me but all my opinions are my own and honest!

So let’s jump in!

What do they claim to do? The eye balm claims to reduce dark circles and puffiness as well as dullness in the skin while also reducing fine lines. The eye cream claims to regenerate the skin under the eyes, providing hydration and minimizing wrinkles.

Did they do this?: Both eye creams did leave my under eye area feeling hydrated and smooth. The eye balm did give my under eye area a bit of brightness and life but I don’t suffer from dark circles – I more have blue / purple veins that show through which give a discoloured look. Anti-aging effects? Well I am only 22 so only time will tell BUT I will say that when using these eye creams I did notice my concealer didn’t show and fine line creases. That’s definitely a good sign.

Ingredients: The anti wrinkle eye cream – Argania spinose extract, decapeptides, phospholipids and sodium hyaluronate. The eye balm contains bioflavonoids and herbal extracts.

Did they aggravate my mila?: As you guys may or may not know I have a bit of a mila situation under my eyes (there will be posts all about that to come). In a nut shell that means I can’t use heavy products under the eyes without aggravating it and causing tiny bumps to appear. So with eye creams I am always quite cautious to the fact of whether I will aggravate my under eye area causing the mila to look obvious. Neither of these eye creams do that. They are hydrating without overwhelming my under eye area. So hooray for that! I always have to stop using an eye cream if it ends up being too heavy so yay to the fact that I can happily use these.

Price: In terms of UK pricing, the eye balm is 15.50 pounds – In Australian currency, the eye balm is approximately $26.62 AUD. The eye cream in pounds is 22.99, which in Australian currency is approximately $39.48 AUD.

Packaging: The packaging does how that ‘pump out product’ effect. Though it’s slightly different and funky. They are also both larger in size than your typical eye creams (I mean in the physical size of the packaging). You get 15 ml of product.

Formula: The eye balm as the name suggests is a little thicker in formula and more ‘balmy’. Once you pump a smidge out, the warmth of the skin lets it really melt into the under eye area. It’s not a heavy formula but it’s not as light as the anti-wrinkle effect. The anti-wrinkle effect eye cream is the same consistency as your typical eye cream. It feels light weight, sinks in quickly and isn’t heavy.

Where to buy them?: Off the freezyderm website – they ship internationally! Eye cream / Eye balm

Pros: Hydrating, light weight, easy to use packaging that keeps the eye cream hygienic.

Cons: Some may find the packaging to be a bit too clunky and large if they are looking to fit their skincare routine in a travel bag for example. They aren’t super affordable eye creams in Aussie dollars.

Rating: 7.5/10

Overall thoughts: They are very nice eye creams. They hydrate the under eye area. Aren’t messy to apply thanks to the pump packaging and they don’t overwhelm my under eyes and cause my mila to look bad. I don’t have any complaints about them. Of course I can’t really speak on behalf of the anti-aging effects. I am not at that stage yet where wrinkles are a major problem. But I do enjoy using them.

Would I purchase / repurchase?: I can be quite a gypsy when it comes to skincare. If it’s not holy grail status I typically don’t repurchase it or at least not straight away because I love trying new products. But these eye creams are definitely in the possible purchase/repurchase pile. I don’t hoard eye creams nor feel the need to test every eye cream out there. So since these eye creams agree with me I’ll definitely be keeping an ‘eye’ on them. PUN INTENDED!

And that wraps up this review! I hope you guys enjoyed it! Here’s to more frequent blogging, I have really missed this. Have you guys tried this eye cream? What eye creams have you been liking? Drop a comment, I love hearing from you peeps. I hope you all have an awesome day, I love you guys and I’ll see you in the next post!

I don’t mind big and clunky packaging as I don’t travel much and these look gorgeous. Happy to hear it doesn’t aggravate your milia xx
