The Milani Baked Blushes

Hey there ma favourite peeps!

Can you believe I haven’t review these blushes yet?! Because I sure can’t. So I am here today to rectify that little blunder and tell you about these little bad boys that I’m sure you’ve heard about anyway.

Pigmentation: These blushes are pretty pigmented. It’s not difficult to build up the color in fact you may want to be a teeny tiny careful because it can get from 0 to clown really quick.

Formula: smooth and non-chalk. Little to no fall out.

Finish: When you hear the word ‘baked’ thrown into the tittle of a product, know that it is definitely not a matte product. These blushes have a glowy and beautiful finish. When you swatch it with your finger it may appear slightly glittery this doesn’t show up when you use a brush.

Packaging: The packaging is a little bit on the clunky side but it does have a second compartment that comes with a little brush, which let’s face it, is pretty useless at actually applying blush.

Wearability: There are a few wearable shades but a lot of them look quite intense and with the high level of pigmentation it can potentially cause some makeup blunders. Like the shade Luminoso – you want to apply the tiniest amount, it can easily look too much.

Price: $16.50 AUD

Availability: Crush cosmetics, discount beauty, rouche boutique, bluescandal and Beauty bay

Shades I own:  I use to own Rose D’oro and Berry Amore, let’s just say they were tragically lost in a depotting accident. But I have the shades luminous, rosa romantica and pink belline.

Shade range: There are 11 shades in total!

Pros: Pigmented, will you give your cheeks a beautiful glow, they have a couple of gorgeous shades and they’re affordable.

Cons: Availability can be a little tricky, if you live in Australia you can’t get them in store you’ll have to order them. This may be the case in the UK as well.

Rating: 7.5/10

Overall thoughts: There is a reason why these blushes roll of the tongue of every makeup lover. They are seriously good! They have tons of pigment and then some, they are glowy on the skin, a decent price range and have some absolutely stunning shades. These guys are top notch quality in my eyes.

Would I repurchase it?: I’d love to repurchase Berry amore and Rose d’oro once again as well as the shades I currently own/

And that wraps up the post! Have you guys tried these blushes? What are your thoughts? What do you think about baked blushes in general? Tell me in the comments below. I hope you all have a wonderful day and I’ll see you in the next post.

I love buying blushers – baked ones give such a good finish! You’re right though, Milani is hard to buy here! I’d have to order online! X

I am the exact same way. I have a crazy addiction with blush though it isn’t the easiest to store so I try to depot them when my collection gets to large.

I would love to try them, but Milani isn´t available in Germany in stores either, and I don´t really like buying blind.

That’s unfortunate. Me I’ve fully embraced online shopping. I feel like 90% of the makeup I buy is online (even if there is a physical store near me haha). In Australia there are plenty of online stores that stock milani but everything is always out of stock.

They are truly awesome blushes. Usually I am not a fan of crazy pigmented blushes because they make the application process a headache but with milani I don’t mind. It took me forever to purchase Luminoso because it was always sold out.

I used to have one of these, I think it was called just Rose Gold and it was a perfect dupe for Nars Orgasm!!

I haven’t seen that shade in their current collection so it’s most likely sold out now. What a shame, anything that’s a dupe for a nars blush has me intrigued. x

I love a good baked blush and Milani have so many wearable shades! These are hard to find even if you live in the States, not every drugstore has them fully in stock. Thanks for sharing your review! xx

Yes in Australia there are many sites that stock this brand but so many of the items are always sold out which makes it difficult to access the brand. x

These shades are super pigmented and gorgeous but yes Milani has funny access depending on which country. In Australia there are many sites that stock milani but everything I want is always sold out.
