Hey there awesome people. So I feel like It’s been quite a while since I’ve shared a piece of this blog series with you guys. If you have been a reader of the blog for a while you may vaguely remember this series – it’s quite new. In a nutshell, I share with you guys a particular base combo (Primer + Foundation + Concealer + Powder + Setting spray) under a specific theme.
Today I am keeping it affordable by sticking to drugstore products – so if that sounds interesting to you, keep on reading!
E.L.F Hydrating Primer: I wasn’t super crazy about the original mineral primer as it had a silicone feel to it and while it was smoothing it wasn’t very hydrating. This primer however is very hydrating, the packaging may be clunky but when I wear this my foundation sits well on top!
L.A Girl Pro HD Foundation: I’m a massive fan of this foundation! Who would have thought such an affordable foundation would be so brilliant (especially when there a lot of high end brands that have crappy foundations). I love how full coverage this is, it’s dewy, it lasts well on my skin and it’s just wonderful!
L.A Girl Pro HD Concealer: Another wonderful base product from L.A Girl! I love using this as a spot concealer and to cover up redness. It does work as an under eye concealer so really its dealers choice. |Review|
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder: For a quick look I do set my under eye area and face using this powder. Though most of the time I will use a loose setting powder for under the eye.
Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray: Last but not least – is this wonderful setting spray. I love the drugstore brands are coming out with awesome setting sprays. I reach for this one very frequently and I love how it gives your face an even spritz – it keeps my makeup looking fresh all day!
That wraps up todays post. What drugstore base products do you peeps love? Tell me about them in the comments. I’ll see you guys in the next post, have a great day.
