Well hello, there you gorgeous bunch of humans! It’s that time again, time to talk about all the products I’ve used up! Every time I do one of these posts I feel like a “legit blogger” and it feels so good to actually use up products – it sort of justifies my constant spending on beauty products (…. Well kinda).
So you guys should know the drill by now, I chat you with you regarding all the products I have so far used up, my thoughts and whether or not I’ll repurchase them.
Let’s jump right in!
One of my holy grail setting sprays – which basically got me hooked on setting sprays! It keeps the makeup looking flawless all day, has a fine mist that doesn’t wreck your foundation. It also settles down fine powders and makes your skin look like skin. Now with so many setting sprays out there (and many in my collection whoops), what’s so special about this one? it really does keep your makeup on all day, with this magical bottle I know my makeup will stay fresh the entire day and that makes it worth every dollar. |Review|
Will I repurchase? Already have! And I always will!
Such an affordable yet incredible concealer, it’s thin in consistency yet sits well under the eyes. The brush applicator annoys me as it can be quite messy getting the product out but other than that it’s an awesome concealer that comes in A LOT of shades! |Review|
Will I repurchase? No, the packaging annoys me but the concealer is awesome (and I have other favorites).
Yes, another Maybelline mascara has made it into the empties stash, I always have plenty of Maybelline mascaras in my collection and will forever go back to them as they are affordable and awesome! This mascara gives your lashes lots of volume and drama and just makes your lashes come to life! It’s one of my favorite Maybelline mascaras, tied with the push-up angel mascara. |Review|

This serum was super lightweight and extra hydrating for the skin. It felt almost juice on the skin as when you applied it would go from a slightly thick consistency to completely melt onto the skin. it did a really good job at locking in the hydration from the moisturizer I applied over the top and overall my skin was super hydrated. I did use this in my AM routine so when I wore makeup, it did a good job at boosting my skin’s hydration levels and allow makeup to go on better!
Will I repurchase? No, as I have TOO MANY serums that need to be used up
In the previous empties post (which I’ll link here) I used up the gel cream moisturizer from the hydro boost range and moved onto to the water gel to see if there was a difference – and if I’d like one more than the other. To be honest I couldn’t spot a difference between them, after using up both – both did the same thing on my skin! I loved both, they were lightweight but incredibly hydrating and worked well underneath moisturizer. My obsession for gel moisturizers started from Neutrogena and I cannot recommend the hydroboost range enough.
Will I repurchase? I’m happy to repurchase this or the gel cream, whichever happens, to be in stock!
You guys know how deep my obsession for cleansing oils is and I have discovered so many favorites. The Burts n bees one, being one of them! It’s super gentle on the skin, melts the makeup while nourishing the skin and takes off easily about 85% of your makeup. On top of that I, doesn’t leave you with a lingering greasy layer that won’t go away. How awesome is that! It does the job and it does it well! |Review|
Will I repurchase? I love this cleansing oil a lot but the only reason I won’t be repurchasing it, is that Priceline doesn’t sell this product! It stocks the brand but not this product so I won’t get access to it at a sale price – but I still probably will repurchase it once I run out of my other cleansing oils.
This is the micellar water that got me hooked to micellar water. I love how gentle it is on the skin, it literally feels like water only with the magical powers of removing all the gunk. Now I don’t use it to take off the bulk of my makeup. It falls into step three of my makeup removing process (click here, to read that post) but it removes the residual traces of makeup well and I know everything has come off. I also use a good ol’ micellar water on those no-makeup days where I can’t be stuffed washing my face at night but I refuse to get lazy and skip a skincare routine altogether.
Will I repurchase? I have discovered lots of micellar waters that I love that are much more affordable, as much as I love bioderma – micellar water isn’t something I want to invest a lot of $$$ in, that and I go through it super quickly!
Yes, another one of these has entered the empties stash. I use this morning and night so I easily go through a tub a month, about 2 months if you only use them once a day.. These are a great way of acid exfoliating but on the gentle side and I also feel like it helps minimize breakouts + active blemishes. I’m enjoying them a lot but I’m wondering if I prefer the night extreme version and whether I’ll stick to repurchasing that.
Will I repurchase it? I have one more tub in my stash, afterward, I will only repurchase the night time version!
I adore this foundation! It sits on the skin so well (has a filter effect), it has about a medium coverage and looks super pretty on the skin. Me being a crazy foundation lady I had to find a way to reduce the size of my foundation collection as it was getting too crazy! This bottle is so old so I had to let it go but I adore it! |Review|
Will I repurchase? I do plan to repurchase eventually.
This is one addictive product and it’s no surprise why everyone loves it. It brightens, refreshes, hydrates your skin! I feel like my skin looks better when I use it and being an ‘acid’ it does help control the breakouts. I just love it that it doesn’t feel too harsh on the skin and yet it’s still super effective. Pixi has a strong game with their products! |Review|
Will I repurchase? Of course!
This was the first foundation I ever loved! I still love it and I still own another bottle! I purchased this a few summers ago in a deeper skin tone. I tan very easily so when I use to go to the beach more I’d get to a point where every single foundation I owned was too pale for me, so I had to pick up a few foundations in darker shades. This foundation is super light-weight and hydrating and it glides onto the skin. It has a super-natural and effortless look to it and is just an awesome everyday option. |Review|
Will I repurchase? The foundation as a whole, yes – this shade, no! I hardly go to the beach.
I love these as a night time acid and I love that they are in the convenience of a being a saturated cotton round without us having to pour the product onto a cotton round ourselves. These particular ones aremoistert (sorry for using that cringy word!) but I also find they are more potent and do more for the skin. Yes, the cotton rounds are super thin and stick together making it annoying to separate but I still love using these!

I rarely talk about hair care of any kind on the blog and that is solely because I am the laziest person on earth when it comes to hair care products, hair styling and just anything to do with hair care. So when I do go for hair care products they need to be super effective and fuss free. Frizzy hair is my #1 problem and it’s not something I’ve conquered but I have find things to make my hair less like (Monica Geller in Bermuda). This finishing cream feels like a heavy moisturizer but it doesn’t make my hair too oily and does help with the frizz – I’ve accidentally skipped it from time to time and definitely noticed a difference! It’s also hydrating as well.
Will I repurchase? I already have!
Another baby I had to let go of because of my insane foundation collection! I have the best luck streak with Bourjois foundations, every single one I’ve tried – I’ve loved. But I purchased this during my ‘tanned’ phase so it no longer matches me. I find that despite my dehydrated/oily t-zone skin type, this foundation worked so well on my skin and wasn’t drying. It sat so naturally on the skin and didn’t cake up at all!
Will I repurchase? I sort of want to repurchase it in the lightest shade but I’m kinda of trying to stop myself because my foundation collection is forever growing.
This stuff is a silky, hydrating, nourishing bottle of magic. It makes the skin feel so hydrated and amazing but it isn’t sticky! Its super lightweight but it packsa mega punch in the hydration department! It definitely made my skin feel super incredible but it’s one pricey product, like crazy pricey – $130 to be exact!
Will I repurchase? As much as I loved it, there’s a lot of other things I want to repurchase from Murad and I can’t afford to repurchase it all, so this won’t make the cut unfortunately.
Another product I had to let go of because it was too old and didn’t match me properly. I mentioned above, how much I adore Bourjois foundations. This product is awesome for those days you want to keep the base light. It looks super natural, sits on the skin well and doesn’t accentuate texture or pores.
Will I repurchase? No, unfortunately, I love too many other light coverage bases and this doesn’t make the cut!
Maybelline is my go to brand for brow products! In general, my brows are very low maintenance but a brow gel is a must for me and when it has a tint – that’s a bonus. What I love about this brow gel is how it holds my brows in place, gives them some colour but mostly that it has a massive wand! Most brow gels have the tiniest wands and my brows are so massive so tiny wands don’t work for me.
Will I repurchase? Yes, Maybelline have also come out with another tinted brow gel which I also love so I may just repurchase that!
And that wraps up this post! Have you guys tried out any of the products mentioned in today’s post? What products have you recently used up? Drop a comment and let’s have a chat! I hope you all have a great day and I’ll catch up with you in the next post!
