Well hello, there you gorgeous bunch of people! You guys know by now you can expect A LOT of reviews over here at the makeup aficionado … gives me an excuse to be a makeup hoarder but I also get to talk to you guys about makeup – the good, the bad, the boring, the fails, the holy grails and everything in between.
So before I go off on a tangent I am going to dive straight into this review!
Pigmentation: The pigmentation of these blushes is super sheer but buildable. I’d say this palette would be a pale girl’s best friends! The blushes are subtle and buildable on fair skin though if you have a depth to your skin they may not show up, so those who are tanned or who have deeper skin tones will find the pigmentation to not show up.
Formula: The blushes have a super smooth, soft feel to them. They blend easily, aren’t chalky or chunky – the glowy blushes are natural and don’t contain chunky glitter/shimmer.
Finish: 4 of the blushes have a soft matte finish while two have a super subtle glow that you can also layer over the more matte blushes.
Packaging: A standard plastic packaged palette with a clear lid so you can see the products on the inside.
Wearability: The shades are super wearable! They are quite muted shades that will work with a variety of makeup look. They are more on the cool-toned spectrum but still super flattering.
Price: $19.95 AUD
Pros: The shades are super wearable and will work with a lot of different makeup looks. You can switch between matte to a glowy finish, the pigment is sheer and buildable so pale gals don’t have to worry about looking like a clown.
Cons: If you have a slight tan / deeper skin tone the blushes won’t show up on you, they are that sheer and the shades are very natural, no bold shades are in the mix. Natio is an Australian brand so international peeps won’t have access to this palette.
Overall thoughts: This blush palette is super pretty! I love that I can use it without the slightest fear that I will look like a clown! The blushes are super easy to work with and I know regardless of what kind of makeup look I am wearing I know the shades in this palette will work!
Would I repurchase it?: While I really like this palette, I am being super restrictive with what makes it on the repurchase list as I love trying new makeup. Unfortunately, this palette doesn’t make the cut.
And that wraps up this post! Have you guys tried out this Natio blush palette? Do you like your blushes sheer but buildable or crazy pigmented? Drop a comment and let’s have a chat about it! I hope you all have an awesome day and I’ll see you in the next post.
