Makeup Products that have made it to the Repurchase list! Vol 1

As someone who is completely, utterly, totally – border-line crazy obsessed with makeup. I like to try a lot of makeup products … I know big surprise there! There’s something so fun about playing around with new makeup (not necessarily new releases – but products I haven’t tried before). So for me to want to repurchase a product it needs to be DAM SPECIAL!

So if you’ve ever been curious about what products I actually plan to repurchase when they finish up –this post is for ya! Though let’s face it I’m going to have to break it down into at least 2-3 posts otherwise we’ll be here all day! I promise I will try to keep the waffling on about each product to a minimal and get straight to the point.

So let’s get started!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer    |Review|

I thought I’d start with the blaring obvious! I’m by now you are sick to death of hearing me yap on about this concealer so I’ll keep it simple. It gives you flawless full coverage under the eyes, doesn’t cake up (if you don’t apply too much) and it just looks awesome all the time. It’s one concealer I can always count on!

Too Faced ‘Hangover 3 in 1’ Setting

I’m not picky with setting sprays (so long as they don’t blast my face with water and ruin my foundation) but there aren’t many setting sprays that have me yelling “holy grail”. This too faced setting spray had me yelling that phrase and it’s no secret I wasn’t blown away by the primer version of this spray. This stuff is seriously hydrating, I’m talking “a big cold glass of water” for my dehydrated skin. It plumps, hydrates and keeps the skin hydrated, as well as being refreshing. I just know I can rely on this spray when my skin is acting weird and of course, the foundation will always look better on hydrated skin! I need a backup of a bottle of this stuff it’s that good!

Makeup Revolution ‘Conceal and define’ Concealer

The under-eye concealer has been something that I’ve become very picky with. I just got to a point where I had a lot of concealers and many times I’d wind up with an average looking under eye area (if not bad altogether). So I reached a mindset where I was like “I’m tired or trying every new/interesting concealer I see I just want to stick to my favorites”. So I began weeding out the average ones, demoting them to eye shadow primer and out emerged my absolute favorite concealers. Of course, I’m not never ever going to try a new concealer (but it has to dam good), for now, I have so many that I adore and this makeup revolution one is one of them. Now I don’t usually go for their base products but this one blew me away. The coverage is awesome, it’s hydrating without being creasy and looks good every time I use it – I already have backups.

Maybelline ‘The Falsies Push up Angel’ Mascara     |Review|

I have been obsessed with Maybelline mascaras since I first got into the makeup and the obsession of course continues! I have to say this is the best mascara that I’ve tried to date! Your lashes look wispy, long, full, flared out and the wand is so simplistic and easy to use but so dam effective.

Smashbox ‘Photo finish Primerizer’ Primer

While it is hard to find one primer that does it all, I’ve got to say that if I was forced to choose one primer to only use – this would be it hands down! It is the best hydrating primer that I’ve ever tried! And I’ve been searching for a fantastic primer for years. It feels like a gel moisturizer only BETTER and allows your foundation to glide over the top (but not slip/slide or break apart). It also allows your skin to look smooth and just sit on your skin so well, every time I use this primer I’m so happy with how my base turns out. I cannot recommend this one enough!

IT Cosmetics CC cream

I don’t know of one person who has spoken badly about this product? I mean literally everyone who raves about it not only (obviously loves it) but goes through countless tubes! I don’t know if you know this but as a makeup addict – it isn’t easy using up products because we are constantly buying them. So that says a lot that this is one product that gets repurchased a lot! It’s long-wearing, looks natural on the skin (more coverage than CC cream but still natural) and it’s very quick and easy to apply. It also feels super comfortable on the skin, it really is the best everyday product.

Too Faced ‘Born this way’ Super full coverage concealer

This particular one gets all the raves for being a “dupe” for shape tape (a concealer that is pretty difficult to dupe!) They are very similar so really you could choose one or the other but I love both and for me it isn’t easy finding under eye concealers that don’t look cakey. This one is a little bit more hydrating than shape tape and slightly thinner in consistency too. The shade range does migrate towards the warmer side so I know you paler babes might struggle at finding a good shade.

Urban Decay ‘All nighter’ Setting spray    |Review|

I have raved about this setting spray for years you guys! So much so that I’m making myself sick to death of talking about it. Cliff notes version this bottle of magic literally keeps your make up on all day look fresh and awesome! Nothing compares even close to this one and I’m in love. Okay, I’ll stop talking about it now!

Tarte ‘Toasted’ Palette

The Tarte eye shadow formula is actually in my top 3 high-end eye shadow formulas. I purchased this palette in the 2017 tarte tartlette holiday vault which literally had toasted, in bloom and the matte palette. In bloom was the very first high-end palette to ever appeal to me and while I like it surprisingly I’m not obsessed with it (it’s a little bit too cool-toned for me) BUT toasted however is freaking awesome. No surprise because the shades are warm tones but they just are so delicious I can’t deal. And every time I use this palette I’m obsessed with how my eye look turns out too.

Becca ‘Shimmering Perfector Pressed’ Highlighter        |Review|

Before my highlighter collection imploded I pretty much lived off these highlighters! I hadn’t found a highlighter so blinding, glowy, beaming and just gorgeous and I can tell you guys these highlighters are what had me HOOKED to the blinding AF highlight. I still love them and I can’t imagine not having them in my life – of course opal and champagne pop are my ride or die shades and I have two other limited edition shades (Vanilla quarts and sannana but If I’m being honest I just purchased those just cause, they aren’t my favorites).

Hourglass ‘Ambient Lighting’ Blushes

I’ve long said that blushes aren’t really worth the investment in regards to going high end. But if any blushes were it would definitely be these hourglass ones! Aside from the fact that they look like artwork (like I could star at those blush pans all day!) but they glide onto the skin, have a sheer but easily buildable pigmentation (allowing us pale gals to wear bright brush shades without looking like clowns) and they are just divine. I should probably stop myself before I go on and on.

Maybelline ‘Master Conceal’ Concealer    |Review|

Concealers are another thing Maybelline does so well and this one is hands down my favorite from them. It has such a thin consistency, covers nicely, looks smooth and non-cakey under the eyes! I haven’t had a bad under-eye concealer day when using this *touch wood* and I also have two backups! 10/10 would recommend!

Benefit ‘Bad girl bang’ Mascara

I rarely go high end for mascaras (because the drugstore does a fabulous job at them) BUT this one is freaking awesome. You guys know I love me a skinny plastic mascara wand and this one has that! What it also has is magical powers to give your lashes length, flare, wispiness (thanks to its light-weight formula), definition and drama! It’s quite a controversial mascara because people either LOVE it or HATE it. My lashes loved it and I’m glad they did!

Clarins ‘Instant’ Concealer       |Review|

I don’t talk about this concealer enough but it’s actually been one of my favorites for years. it has the most hydrating, creamy (almost air-like formula ever – I weird way to describe a concealer but let’s just go with it!). It sits wonderfully under the eyes and doesn’t even look like you are wearing concealer. It’s awesome and I’m definitely due to run out of soon which means I’m going to need to repurchase it ASAP!

Physician’s Formula ‘Butter’ Bronzer     |Review|

The best bronzer I’ve ever tried and definitely the best drugstore bronzer of all time! It’s actually quite hard finding good drugstore bronzers when you are pale like MOI so this is the only “affordable” one I use and it’s the best. If I was forced to only ever use one bronzer, this would definitely be my chosen bronzer!

Huda Beauty ‘Desert Dusk’ Palette     |Review|

Last but definitely not least is this stunner of a palette. This was actually the very first high-end palette I purchased … what caused the floodgates to open not only on my taste for high-end palettes but Huda beauty products in general. The formula is pigmented AF, blendable, long-wearing and just look at those shades – literally there isn’t one shade I wouldn’t use!

And that wraps up this post! Have you tried anything mentioned in today’s post? Would you repurchase it? What makeup is on your repurchase list? Drop a comment and let’s have a chat! I hope you all have a wonderful day and I’ll see you in the next post.

I’ve been through a couple of the MUR conceal and define concealers too, they are just soo good for the price! Agree with you that Maybelline create some amazing concealers and I’d include foundations in that too! Such a great idea for a post, loved reading this.

I’m so ecstatic that Physicians Formula is available in the UK now! I’ve repurchased the bronzer twice already, I also love their blushers in the same formula, it’s amazing! I really want to desperately try Tarte eyeshadow palettes, they are meant to be such amazing quality! xx
